We love the look of vintage styling and of course paper details are our specialty. We adore love letters especially during Valentine's Day and the nostalgia of sending and receiving the traveling letter. Today we wanted to highlight a vintage table setting with the use of several of our Idea Chic products within this theme.
We started the design with a palette or red, blue, white and kraft. Our Love Sayings Kraft Wrapping Paper acts as a paper place mat for the setting. We trimmed the edges of the wrapping paper with pinking sheers and added a bit of vintage trim to the bottom. We wanted love letters and travel to be part of the overall theme. Our Vintage Valentines become part of the style and decor. We wrapped a tin can with one of our Airmail postcards to use as a DIY vase and to continue to play upon the love letter and travel theme.
Our red and white baker's twine spool becomes a creative holder for the flag place card. Our red heart lavender sachet acts as a perfect gift for each guest and completes the setting. Our XOXO tag adorns the sweet flower display. Of course a red doily heart completes the vintage style along with the mini blue travel suitcase and foil wrapped hearts.
