I write this as Julie is in a meeting with a couple about their wedding invitations. It reminds me of our story because like everyone getting married this year, specially within the next few months, we had total uncertainty about our own upcoming wedding date. September 22, 2001.
We lived in San Diego and were a few days away from flying home to Denver when 9/11 happened. It was sudden and overwhelming. The dot com burst already happened so we joked that at least I didn't have to worry about getting laid off. It already happened and we had been living our plans.
I was pricing Uber from San Diego to Denver (that's a joke) hoping air travel would open up. It did. Our original booked flight took off that following Thursday morning but we boarded with instruction to prepare for not talking off. Stressful to say the least.
There's a lot more to this story and I know you have any variety of your own challenges. That time for us prepared us and we haven't forgotten. When these things out of our control happen we all have an opportunity to be stronger, healthier and better prepared 🙏 - David
Adorable and smell great! Perfect for dresser drawers.
Recommend the product. These make wonderful "Thank you cards" as well as just a note to someone special. Shirlj
These letterpress cards and that WOW envelope stitching are exciting. People love receiving these therefore, I must keep ahead re-ordering so as to never run out. Comments that return warm your heart. People save them, and that pleases me greatly. As a "letter writer" I have folders on the correspondence I receive and love to re-read lines from friends. Its next best to a conversation. Thank you. Shirlj P.S. Your insert cards are a delight and savers. "Snailed it", clever.
These are my favorite Letterpress cards. OH my! that stitching on the envelope captures comments of every recipient. It is so creative and lovely, people display them after receiving. Highly recommend this seller It pleases me so to send notes so well received. I must keep these at hand always. Shirlj
