From Your Sweet Little Garden

What is a new skill many developed during the pandemic that is benefiting them during a time of high food inflation?

Gardening!

Our Idea Chíc Pinterest page had a very specific pattern of activity at the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Everything garden was trending and by some definitions went viral. It was obvious people were researching ideas for building out a sweet garden in a small space - like corners of a yard or pad outside a condo and apartment living space.

A few years later many of the budding gardeners found something meaningful to do with their time and with family or roommates. Gardening as an activity that grows food you eat is rewarding. Community gardens while not new, have become even more important as food costs from the grocery store and at restaurants rise.

When it comes to your herb garden, we have your markers printed on whitewashed wood bases. Each Herb Garden Marker features a different herb’s name in a modern black script. Each marker is printed by hand on our vintage Chandler & Price letterpress, Hazel, providing a one-of-a-kind look and feel.

Included are ten individual stakes: basil, cilantro, mint, oregano, parsley, thyme, rosemary, lavender, dill, and sage to mark your seeds. This is an excellent gift for home cooks, amateur gardeners, or for the green thumb in your house.

Rewarding new skills that become passions deserve stationery that satisfies the gardener and stationery lover. We learn from garners that having a nice and heavy card stock to make notes is a nice addition to the mud room. Not to mention having the right card in hand when mailing the next just because or thank you card!
