As our little stationery shop is becoming a regular stop for more Denver area explorers, we have been rethinking our space. Since we permanently expanded our retail shopping hours almost two years ago, the ongoing challenge to expand our stationery and gift offering in the same space we host custom stationery consultations has been a fun challenge.

The universe often works in mysterious ways. The opportunity to expand our current space presents itself! Our long time neighbor to the north is as much of a permanent fixture as we are in the Workshops courtyard. He decided to take the available space across from us because it is better for his watercolor art display and classes! Instead of waiting for more space behind us, we get to expand with full wall-to-wall windows! 

The story we like to tell is how engaged the youngest adults and even kids among us are seeking out Idea Chic, personalized stationery and what we have to offer. Our rewarding conversations have led to new thoughts of how to use our space; from the Paper Pantry to acquiring a table-top letterpress to adding stickers and a gift wrapping service. In June we will be in construction mode as we carve out a door and expand. After July 4th we should be able to open the doors to do more.

We would love your thoughts! What do you love about your recent visits? What would you like to see more of? We already know we are expanding pens, journals and some of the botanicals that sell so well along with our cards. We have already added a modest collection of hard-bound beautiful books. What else?
